My son has tons of wolverine figures with three of them being from the large MU 16" Sentinals with the slightly smaller wolverine included... those three are still safe lol! Needless to say we have a few better versions of Wolverine in an update outfit etc so this Wolverine here - you guessed it just like the last two customs, another Black Lantern!

Very basic re-paint nothing custom about this other than that yet I did manage to paint some silver over his pupils (see image with flash) that junk is hard to do these brushes smh! Now normally Black Lanterns are black+silver outfit however after they were originally defeated, twelve were brought back in a later storyline (remember that?) and I noticed in artwork online for example that BL Aquaman still had his orange-ish scaled chest piece and Martian Manhunter was green albeit a pale shade the point being not all are black+silver outfits so I have some leeway here well and I'm not a liar, made it so I didn't have to paint over the yellow although when I get an itch, I'm scratching :P. I may also craft some black lantern construct claws, basically larger versions of his claws but out of black lantern construct energy - credit to my son for that novel idea.

So the story? This Wolverine was infected by Black Lantern Absorbing Man from Earth-1010101 while fighting him, the battle ended with Wolverines healing factor unable to heal as fast as the black lantern ring consumed his flesh after being mortally wounded therefor the black ring corrupted his mind and soul, this Wolverine is more beast with less logic than any ever encountered - he hungers in a way only primal instinct can satisfy, by feeding his hunger!
