There have been a few different lines named DARKNESS WARRIORS. Probably the most well known is the series of mini MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE knockoffs by Cyber Kidz International. My armored skeleton is from a different set, and is one of six 3 ¾“ DARKNESS WARRIORS (individually nameless) made by the Mountains China Co. The other five figures are all fleshed out, but are of somewhat cartoonish proportions.

A lot of action figures come with weapons and accessories that are, realistically, much too large. The shield that came with this figure is so huge that you wouldn’t be able to see much of the figure if he was displayed holding it. However, the design of the shield was too good to have the piece replaced with a smaller one that was more in scale with the figure. I got around the dilemma by creating a stand to hold the shield off to the side of this warrior whom I named Deathblow. This figure is a 100% repaint; none of the original plastic color or paint remains visible.
