Yet again, I give you another translucent figure. This time it's Sunspot in his powered up form. He is pretty much based off the minimates figure and I thought their design would look great as a six inch figure. I used Havok's head which I sculpted the hair and ears. Than I made a clear casting of his head. His feet are clear casting of Carnage's feet. His body is made from 3 pack Vision and I painted his body with Tamyia clear yellow paint.

Very cool! What is your casting process? I'm of a mind that as figures get more expensive and fodder piles from years past begin to shrink, casting is going to be the way to go. And it opens up so many possibilities for taking the process further, I think. Again, very cool custom!

Wow! Brilliant idea for a translucent character. Sunspot finally has an awesome ML figure. Youv'e gotten lots of use out of that Vision base, and probably still more on the way.

Once again, you have knocked these right out of the park. An ingenious use of head (and clear casted!) to give Sunspot that expressive face, and the use of black paint to detail his powers is brilliant. Over all, a pretty damn perfect figure!
