For my little universe I've got some Zerg creations on the go. I wanted to make a figure based on the aliens from the film 'The Edge of Tomorrrow' because the designs and their movement really captured my imagination, so here is the result. I also wanted to give it a Venom Symbiote kind of feel.

The main body is a straight repaint of an old McFarlane Spawn Alien I had lying around. For the tendrils I purchased a shed load of black cable ties and spent most of the completion time tying and soldering them together then of course securing them into the creatures back with my beloved epoxy resin. Suffice to say the benefit of the cable ties gives a pretty much unlimited range of articulation and have that perfect gooey look.
