Took some Halo/Master Chief Mega Bloks, dremeled the bodies down to their most basic shape then started sculpting Dredd, Mean Angel and Pa Angel out of milliput. I also added some wire to Mean's claw so it can be posed in a variety of positions/grasp stuff. Then I painted them with citadel paints and washes.

The base is mostly polystyrene packing found around most electrical appliances. I love the way polystyrene melts when it's sprayed with primer, it creates such a "scorched earth" effect. I added a Mega Bloks platform so the figures can be displayed securely. I made the shelter from cardboard and popsicle sticks, sculpted a terrified resident from apoxy. Added some sculpted details, some pipes made from bendy straws and painted the whole thing using a combination of poster paints, watercolour acrylics and citadel paints/washes.

Really can't get enough of these Mega Bloks figures. They're so enjoyable to work with and so far I've been pleased with my results. Any feedback, please leave a comment but don't drokkin' swear creeps. That'll earn you two years in an iso-cube.
