For my entry into the Console Wars contest, I'm going with one of my favourite video game characters, the lovely Lara Croft. Sydney Savage has been used as a base figure for a variety of characters and I wanted to experiment with adding articulation to the figure. This was something of an undertaking - I cut the figure apart and added in ball joints from a Japanese hobby shop at the elbows, knees and ankles. The articulation is still not ideal, but it definitely helps her to pose holding the guns. The head is from a Lara Croft in motorcycle gear from the Playmates line for the first movie. I sculpted extra hair onto her forehead and repainted the head, giving the sunglasses a red tint as in the game Tomb Raider: Chronicles. The hands are from AJ Lee, with the peg holes modified to accommodate them. The holsters are from a Marvel Legends Mystique, with craft pleather for the straps. The guns are from a Japanese model kit. Appreciate the votes!
