My final custom for the day is Hawkeye. He is made from a WWE elite Edge body with a UFC Lyoto Machida head. I masked off the lower arms and gave the figure a base of black. The next step was to paint the arrow, which was inspired by Hawkeye’s look on the Contest of Champions game. I used Citadel Xereus Purple and a lot of masking tape and patience to create the arrow and Citadel Ironbreaker silver and a lot more masking tape to create the pinstripe effect. I also dry brushed silver over the top to add a bit of a metallic look. I used the same process to create the details on the boots. At this point I also sculpted the gauntlets with milliput and painted them black. I heated up his left hand and bent the fingers to enable him to hold the bow drawn back.

For his belt I cut a piece of craft foam to shape and painted purple; for the pouches I made a mold using millput from the pouches off of a beast figure and used milliput to form the pouches. I painted these back and dry brushed them with the purple before super gluing them to the belt. For the head I sculpted the glasses and painted them black and purple whilst using different shades of yellow and brown for the blonde hair.

The final stage was the bow and quiver and I started with a set from the Marvel Legends Odin series Hawkeye figure. I removed the peg from the quiver and added a craft foam strap and removed the string from the bow and added an elasticated one to enable the bow to be drawn back. I painted both black and added some purple and silver accents to the quiver. After this the final stage was to seal the figure with a matt varnish to protect the paintwork and he was complete.
