Not much is known about Rex Stewart, the living battle axe known as Warhawk. However, in the short time he's spent in comics and cartoons he's established himself as one of the toughest, meanest fighters in the DCU.

As a member of the future Justice League, Warhawk regularly defends the planet against all sorts of maniacal and devastating threats, the worst our future has to offer. Shape-shifting robots, cyber-warloks, mind-blasting aliens, no matter what comes his way he spears the problem head on and shreds it with gleaming Nth metal talons.

Warhawk once wrestled with a missile until it cried and exploded. After pretending to be dead for a while (because he's stronger than death), he was back to punching super-villains in the face with his pecs.

To stay in top form, Warhawk spars regularly with Big Barda. One time I saw Barda get super-pissed and punch a monster into the sun, anyone who can survive training with her has to be tough.

•Parts from many different figures were used, Cable head cast, Darkness gloves, John Stewart forearms, Radioactive Man biceps, YJ Batman shoulders and lower body, Recovery Suit Superman torso, whew. This figure fought me every step of the way, I had to modify almost everything to fit. Sculpted all the armor, smoothed the chest, extended bracers, etc. based his look on fan art I found.

•Belt is removable by virtue of having sculpted it separately, so waist articulation is still there.

•Painted with Formula P3 and VHT Vinyl Dyes to eliminate paintrub.

•I don't recommend you use Radioactive Man's arms with DCUC shoulders, it's a pain to connect them. The RM biceps have a very shallow cavity and the DCUC shoulders have a very long peg, you'll have to come up with a messy solution.

•UPDATE: Added the wings! Made of foam, cut to shape and painted. I glued cardstock backing to them so they can hold curved angles simply by flexing them into shape.
