I love this movie. The imagery and the underlined social commentary of the story is amazing. Plus, the greatest fight scene of all time, with crazy wrestling moves and Rowdy Piper snarling the whole time. Frank and Nada start out work buddies and then end up fighting the aliens together.

Frank was pretty easy. Switched out the legs, hands and head. Sculpted the belt a little better, sculpted his pant bottoms over the boots and created the glasses from some GI Joe goggles. Made the backpack, painted it all and done.

Nada was brutal. I was scared of painting the jeans as I find painting “denim” can be very hit and miss with figures. They went really well I felt, then I started the shirt. Oh smeg. Painting plaid is unbelievable. I had sculpted up the sleeves and the neck cuffs and then did a base coat. Checkering and doing individual lines for the shirt took so many steps, I will never do that again, but I am pretty happy with how it ended up looking.
I had to cut away his arms a bit to work with the new hands. The glasses are made from GI Joe glasses, and the backpack is movie accurate with everything he has when he enters the bank. (I realize now, you can’t even see anything in the pics. Haha.)

Get on it. The beginning is a little weird, but the rest is a staple of life.

And like Rayne said, maybe the greatest longest fist fight ever.
