This custom figure took a lot of time and effort and $$$, I used a Maximum Aggression Triple H figure for the body, these have the same articulation as the smaller Deluxe Aggression figures and the Build and Brawl figures. The added bonus for customisers is that the new 12 inch line is designed to be interchangable, the wrists, waist and head all pop off and on with specially designed plugs. Very handy! I saw the new Maximum Aggression Triple H figure at the Melbourne 2008 Toy fair back in April, and thought, that would make an excellent MOTU custom, if only Mattel had produced a 12 inch MOTU Line.... I first got the idea to make a 12 inch Skeletor when I saw a pic of the Roto-Cast Snakemen Skeletor. This figure looks AWSOME! the detail in the armour and face are fantastic. Unfortunatley, the articulation is minimal, pretty much like the 2002 MOTU line. I had to heat and cut the roto-cast figure using a hair drier and scalple blade. Once the roto-cast figure is heated, it becomes quite easy to carve out the required chest, wrist and leg armour. The loincloth was a seperate piece so was easy to remove. After a few coats of paint and a few drops of blood (Yep, I sliced my thumb while carving out the right leg armour piece...) Skeletor is ready to rule Eternia... ![]() |

Sorry to hear about your injury. I sliced my hand real good (12 stitches) working on Man-At-Arms... My wife bought me a fillet glove after that. LOL..
