Like many symbiote fans I was very unhappy with the recent Toxin figure, so I decided to just make my own. I decided to sacrifice my Mac Gargan Venom, which I had on display as my Venom without the scorpion tail. I never quite liked him, he always looked to bulky in the chest area. In my fodder bin I finally found the top half of the 6inch ASM Lizard figure and decided that his torso was a way better fit. So I cracked them open and used chest and arms of the Lizard and everything else from Venom. Then I added pieces of wire to the back of the figure, put hot glue on them and also on the torso in order to emulate the symbiote tendrils. I then added pieces of toothsticks to the elbows and knees and sculpted spikes over them with Milliput. Finally I removed the tongue and made it detachable via magnet. A quick paint job later and it was done.
