So, seeing how the Marvel Legends Arnim Zola Series Bucky Barnes Captain America did not come with an alternate unmasked head, I decided to make an unmasked version myself.
To do this figure, I first took the Marvel Legends Arnim Zola series Bucky Barnes Captain America and removed the head. Next, I took the unmasked head from Marvel Legends Mandroid Series Winter Soldier (I decided to use this head for the obvious reason that it was made to look like actor Sebastian Stan, who played Bucky/The Winter Soldier in the Captain America movies, and it is only fitting that if you are going to do an unmasked version of Bucky Barnes as Captain America, you should use the head that was molded to look like the actor who played him on film), and, using the boil and pop method, I removed the hair. With the hair removed, I commenced a full repaint of the skin with Testors Acryl Peach. Once the skin had dried, I repainted the eyebrows with Testors Model Masters Burnt Sienna, followed by two generous coats of flat clear. When the flat clear was fully dry, I used Testors Modeling cement to reattach the hair to the head, and then wrapped the head with a rubber band to hold the hair in place until the glue had hardened and set. When the glue had set, I popped the newly painted head onto the body, and TA-DA...an unmasked Bucky Barnes Captain America!!!
Please let me know what you guys think of him, and as always, comments are appreciated.
