Long time readers, first time contributors! I've been customizing since I was 14, and now I'm joined by my 14 year old brother to bring you Chimera's Customs!

Just in time for "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" we have Ben Affleck's armored Batman! This is a head-to-toe repaint of the Mattel figure completely repainted by my brother. The original figure has great detail, but as usual was delivered with no paintjob, cast in gray plastic.

Nicholas primed the figure with a double coat of Krylon black, before adding a base coat of gray. After that, Nick used several drybrushed layers of gunmetal, with a final drybrushed layer of sterling silver. The multiple layers give the figure a real metal look, while still looking weathered and battle-hardened, to bring out the figure's natural details.

Finally, Nick added gold highlights and blue trim, along with white/blue on the eyes to create a halo effect to mimic the character's glow.
