I loved teen titans back in the day (old man speak) It managed to be a lot of fun, while also tapping into the darkness that DC does so well. I've wanted to make a Red X for some time, but never really settled on what sort of look I wanted to go for. After researching some of the various images, fan art and also some of the excellent Red X customs that have come before, I settled on a bit of a mesh of some of the different looks.
This was primarily the Black Panther base, with the mask, arms, legs, and torso sculpted. I also sculpted the hair on the MU Punisher head I used for the unmasked melon. I made the blades out of some sheet plastic, and the throwing star weapons out of some rubbery material.
The cape and cowl piece were from an old Batman figure that gave it's life in honor of fodder some time ago. He will be missed by all. So tragic... the belt was from a Hawkeye figure and the buckle was sculpted as was the center of the cowl.
I hope fellow Teen Titan fans will like how this turned out. I played around with some photo editing to add some cool lighting on the blades and his chest here and there. Alas, nothing actually lights up in him, but I thought it was a nice touch. Thanks folks.
