Watch out Spidey - there's a devious doppelganger out there ruining your good name!

Wow. This custom was a major pain in the arse. If you're gonna paint webs, make sure you don't get OCD. I had to make sure these were all perfect, and it took about 2-3 weeks longer than it should have because I hated the sight of it.

I couldn't get hold of a Pizza Spidey, so I decided the next best thing was a Walgreen's Ant Man (for paint rub). It helped, except I had to pain-stakingly paint every single web line... ughh.

So I made sure every line was straight and perfect, and included some extra heads. First is normal Spidey, but with resculpted eyes to make him more villainous, and repainted the head to match the red on the rest of the figure. Then a normal Chameleon head and finally another but painted in Spidey colours like on the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #307.

The belt was just an extra, to set him apart from good Spidey. I modelled it on the Animated Series Chameleon's belt.

I tried using a superglue shield method on some parts for paint rub, and the black lines smudged all over the place! So I had to do lots of repainting!

So although this was a tedious and annoying custom, I'm really glad in how it came out. Hardly any paint rub at all.
