Vision II (this is my second shot at him) was made using a General Zod Movie figure (hence the single joint elbows/knees), Iron Man Mk 43 hands (modified), Steve Rogers MCU head (heavily modified) and a cape from the Grim Reaper figure. The cape uses magnets to attach to the back of the shoulders.
I sculpted lots of details on Vision: the chest/neck details, the arm gauntlets, hands, head and boot details. They all have multiple layers of apoxie so there is some dimension in the sculpt. I’m pretty happy with how the fine details turned out for the most part. The infinity stone on his forehead is a touch off centre (oops, didn’t notice till I was done painting somehow. lol) but I’m still really happy with how it all came together.
Full paint job for Vision. There are 4 different shades of green on him, a gajillion coats of magenta (UGH!!!) and gold. His face had a touch of pink dry brushing as well. The fine lines on the face were done using a fine tip permanent market. His cape was given multiple coats of yellow base coat, magenta and bronze details with a gold dry brushing over the whole thing.
