Storm (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:82086
Name:Storm
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:bluebery
Date Added:April 19, 2016
Height:7.00 inches
Storm has been in the works on and off for a long time. I finally urged myself to finish her up. She is made from TRU Storm with XMC Storm lower legs. Her heads are Satanna and the screaming one is DC Mera.

I sculpted the hair entirely out of Procreate and it is removable to fit on the three alt heads. The alt clear hands are from Monster High dolls. Her cape and sleeves are made from fabric and the cape is removable.

Whoa. That's great. Love the heads - the painting is spectacular. One of the most effective uses of fabric I've ever seen at this scale.

First, that hair looks like it jumped off the pages. Just awesome. I can't decide with head I like best, but that screaming one is really great. Also I really like the real fabric you used for the upper arms. Works much better than sculpted details and allows all that articulation. Love it man.

Best rendition of Jim Lee's Storm. The hair is gorgeous and the alternate heads makes it a true collectors piece. Love the cloth sleeves and the paint work. I'm just curious, how did you do the sleeves and did you airbrush the blue? Good work

Thank you. I sewn the fabric on to the arms then I popped them in the torso sockets. Yes I did use airbrush on the figure and fabric.

Looking at the hair sculpt just makes my mouth hit the floor! Do you feel Procreate is easier to use rather than Apoxie?

Thank you! While I do like the texture of Apoxie, it's more fir sculpting details on the base figure and short hair. Procreate textures is a little tough but is good for long bigger hair. It's more flexible and light weight than Apoxie.
