It was bound to happen. Finally cracked one of these open and added a new wired fabric cape cometely custom. The wire runs into the same spots the original was fastened down but I drilled another .25" down into the torso to give my wire some grip. It behaves nicely off the shoulders and will hold any shape nicely.

The knees, elbows, ankles and neck have been deepened as well for tighter closing of those joints. The elbows close tighter to the chest, the knees close tighter for more dynamic flight, as well as the extra tilt added to the neck and ankles.

This was a formerly VERY busted figure. The left elbow and both knees snapped in arrival. I replaced those joints with ball joints from other cheaper figures (everything has ball joints now) and repinned them with thumbtacks that were trimmed down and countersunk. Good as new and them some I say.
