This Daredevil is almost a complete custom re-sculpt on a series 8 Captain America. Its based on a image by artist Rafael Grampa. Iv always loved the first appearance Daredevil yellow suit and when I saw his image I new I wanted to make a figure of it. Hes meant to be a Daredevil that walked into his fathers boxing gym and grabbed what he found to make his first costume. "devil of hells kitchen"

...me again can/would you tell me how you get these shadows into the marks of the yellow display? I'm working on a classic scorpion from mortal kombat now and would be really thankful for tips about drybrushing brighter colors...I tried with vallejo,but the paint seems too thin,did you may mixed it with a thicker white or used a real varnish or something...? best greetings

Ha! I was wondering why I was getting all sorts of replys on older stuff today. I just made a website and moved all my tutorials over to it so I updated the text in my posts telling people to go to my website rather than my imgur account. Didn't realize it would show up as updated.

Gorgeous! I only just got my Walgreens DD and I do love it but I had always loved the Grampa artwork and I too felt like making one like this. I very much think I'll be doing something similar but I'm gonna go with a brown truncheon to keep it 'in the gym' methinx. Either way, this is a perfect example of the potential of some of the older ML pieces as I don't necessarily believe that everything 'newer' is better. That came out spectacular.
