I bought this Star Wars Zam Wesell speeder years ago, gave it to a friend and then got it back years later...broken. So it's spent the last few years sitting around until now. Like with other vehicles, I wanted to create a more worn, 'real' vehicle. I started off by cutting the tail pieces off the back and then replacing it with new pieces of plastic to make a new tail-end (followed by a repaint). Next was fitting a gun and wire on the left side, primarily over the broken button section. Last but not least was giving it a repaint to give it a new color life along with a dark wash to make it look dirty, of course, everything was sealed. The original vehicle had this 'crash damage' feature-the two front ends are rubber pieces on springs and you push them into a hard surface, they crush back and lock until a button on each side releases it. The right side still works, however the left side is where the damage was (it still crushes but doesn't lock). Up for auction is a Custom Star Wars 'Speeder' Action Figure Vehicle for 3.75 inch figures. Speeder is an original design and is supposed to reflect a more 'worn', used vehicle that would be found in the Star Wars universe. Speeder features: -Original design -Custom Paintjob -Sealed to protect paint -Opening cockpit for 3.75 inch figures -Crash damage 'Impact panels' (push them against a hard surface and the panels 'blow' off!) with locking/button release RIGHT side (RIGHT side ONLY). Serious bidders, please ask any questions BEFORE bidding. What you SEE is what you GET. ![]() |
