My largest project so far but funnily enough far from the hardest. I was actually inspired by the work of Narpa Sword, who created a Mother Brain figure from another Malebolgia figure.

This required about 4 bottles of purple nail polish, as well as a decent amount of new sculpting with air dry clay, particularly his beak, wings and tail. The lower parts of the wings were originally webbing on his arms that I tore off, then attached to a back mount I made that could carry their weight. His tail has a wirecoat hanger inside which makes it somewhat malleable but it's fairly fragile so I tend to leave it as is. Those spikes on the top of his wings were also originally on the top of his head. Plenty of part recycling with this figure.

He's now the largest figure I've ever owned, let alone customized. He even towers over my Ganon! Now if only his legs weren't so wobbly I'd be able to stand him up without help...
