I've wanted to Make the Wincesters ever since I started customizing figures but just didn't feel like I could do them justice. Then I stopped watching the show around season 6 or so and kind of forgot about them. Well, recently the wife and I started watching it again and I felt the need to have them adorning my shelves...the wife didn't really see it that way but c'est la vie eh?

Anyway, Sam was a bit harder than his brother, why is Sam always the difficult one? He's a NECA Old Pops figure with Jacob of Twilight's head. I had to dremel off the techno bits from his shirt and repaint it; at first I was happy enough with the result but after "finishing" the pair and see how well I think they turned out I realized I would have to fix the shirt and will. I repainted Pops' jacket too. After that I had to dremel off Jacob's hair and increase the amount of brow present. Then I sculpted him some hair based off a few key photos of Jared P. His handgun is from a Danger Girls figure and his shotgun actually can with the Pops figure. Now the duo just need some targets to hunt.
