So this is a little Awkward. I completed this custom about two months ago, well before Figma announced there Twilight Princess version of Zelda, which happens to be my favorite version of the character. I had the idea for this one over a year ago, the idea being to use the SOA version of Asuna. When I seen the AOL Asuna however, with her pointed ears and blue eyes, I had to go head with the custom. I like the idea of using your own design for customs because it keeps the custom from being rendered useless be a official figure. The look of this Zelda was based loosely off her Hyrule Warriors design. I didn't really see a way to do one with a full dress (obviously Figma did) but I also like a Princess Zelda who can fight, It works well for my Smash Brothers display. I'm still happy to have this figure in my collection despite the reveal of the TP one. If I'm unhappy with anything, it would be the paint. Figma's are known for there paint and I'm afraid my skill level isn't quite high enough to match the super clean paint on the base figure. When dealing with the paint job, I tried to keep it simple and stick with the pink, yellow, and purple she's known for. All in all I'm happy with the final product.

The recipe is entirely the Figma Alfheim Online verison of Asuna from Sword Art Online. I didn't want to do any sculpting because I didn't want to open up that can of worms. I completed the custom and had it sitting in my Smash Bros Display for a few days before her lack of crown bugged me. A little bit of sculpt fixed that problem.
