Hey everybody! Guess who got a new camera!

Today I bring you my newest custom, an SH Figuarts Captain America. I decided to repaint this figure because it seriously lacked paint. It was very dull and I just wasn't pleased with it.
I drybrushed 4 different shades of blue onto him, then I drybrushed 2-3 shades of brown onto his boots. I know the boots are supposed to be grey, but I really like the way he looks with brown boots, so I went with that. I then gave the whole figure a blackwash using shoe polish. Finally, I gave him a matte finish, because I love the way that looks.

I painted the glove cuffs. I'm not sure if they were supposed to be painted or not originally, but they were left blue...I didn't like that. I also painted all of the buckles that weren't previously painted.

I'm extremely happy with how he turned out, especally because I finally have a camera that can capture the detail in the figure.
