Hello everyone. Back with another X-men figure to join the collection. Continuing my 80’s Giant Size X-Men team, here is Havok!

I’m sure I was not the only person disappointed that the most recent Havok Marvel Legend figure was in one of his more recent costumes. While I love the figure, I would have much preferred his classic digs. Lucky for me, it provided the perfect base for a custom 80’s Havok.

Alex here was made using a fairly simple recipe. The base body (and energy effects) are from the newest Marvel Legends Havok figure with lower arms and fists from Marvel Now Cyclops, boots from Morbius (so I didn’t have to paint them) and a head cast from a Toybiz Daredevil. The egg beater on the head is from the old Toybiz Havok.

This was an easy custom to make as there was zero sculpting involved. There was also little to no prep work involved as the base body and other pieces used were already all black. So no paint rub to worry about on this guy. I painted the head, neck, the circles on the chest and effects pieces.

All in all, I’m super happy with the outcome of this custom. He was one of my simpler customs I’ve made, however the results turned out fantastic. Wish I had a steadier hand for the circles on the chest, but otherwise I am super happy with this figure. Thanks for checking out my Havok figure. Please leave your words below. I love to read em!
