More time travelling characters: Armageddon 2001 mini-series was a great story that kept in suspense for months us DC fans in early '91. The clues were there and most of us knew Captain Atom was the perfect candidate for this villainous role! But some jerk at DC Comics offices leaked it out and Hank Hall became Monarch; BUMMER!! And guys, those days there was no internet to leak this out; just mainstream newspapers!! Nobody liked the switch-a-roo so DC decided to change Monarch into Extant and gave away the suit to, omg!!, the real Nathaniel Adam who was suppose to be the original Captain Atom but was stuck in the Quantum Field and one we knew for years turned out to be a clone of...you know what, forget about it. DC should had stuck with what they planned originally!!
