"And behold I shall be a blight upon the land and everything I touch shall wither and die."

I have been wanting to do a Blight figure since I started doing Batman Beyond customs, but the stars have never really aligned. Once I saw the heads that come with the movie ML Mordo, I knew that the time was now.

This guy was put together by acquiring three different figures -

-ML movie Mordo for the green Ghost Rider heads.

-ML 3 pack Vision.

-Batman V Superman Basic Knightmare Batman for the trench coat.

I have never taken paint off of a figure before, so that was a new experience. It took 21 Q-tips and some Acetone to remove all the paint from the Vision figure.

I simply pulled off the blue flame effect from the green head and it was ready to go. Although, to my unpleasant surprise, there were grooves in the head where the flame effect pieces rested in. It didn't bother me enough to fill the grooves with clear epoxy (which I don't currently have so it would have set me back a few days, and I was too excited to wait). I do have a spare head, so maybe one day I will fix that.

I got the Basic Knightmare Batman for the outer blazer. For Batman, it was a trench coat, so I used a razor to cut it in half. After that, I used the blade to cut holes and make it look tattered.

I coated the Vision with a few coats of tamiya clear green to give him the green translucent look. I'm not overly happy with the green color, I would have preferred it to be not as dark. I painted his eye area black, and black washed his teeth, so that some of that detail would stand out. I also painted his arms black and transitioned the paint to give it the faded look. I did the same with his brown pants. I chose to keep the Vision feet, because I wanted to utilize the Vision figure as much as I could, and I think that it's just logical that he would have no shoes.
