"Your life is over. You belong to me."

DESIGN This Ultimate Green Goblin is amalgamated from the character's different looks in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics from Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley. We debated using the partial flesh tone from his first appearance, but ultimately settled on green. On the other hand, the robes were too cool to pass up!

RECIPE The original build a figure had bony protrusions and enormous horns - this isn't unlike the character when he overdoses on the "Oz" serum but we didn't think accurately capture his look. His nose was resculpted to capture that giant Osborn schnoz and the horns on his head were sanded down significantly. The removable cape was cut from denim, and reinforced with hot glue in certain spots to give it the correct shape. That weird gem-belt-buckle-thing was sculpted as well. The whole thing was repainted head to toe, alternating green washes/dry brushing to bring out the details.
