Like most fans I was deeply crushed when we lost Carrie Fisher. It was a real shame that the Hasbro version that came out shortly before does the character or actress NO justice. So this is my little tribute to her. I've never been a fan of cloth on the 6 inch scale so I went the opposite route and went with a sculpted robe. Due to this the articulation on the thighs was rendered pretty much useless (as most of it under the skirt, even though it has fully articulated legs so the feet and ankles can be slightly adjusted for different poses) The base for the skirt was a HML Emma Frost cape that I wrapped around the body and dremeled/sculpted it into the new shape. Sleeves and robes are all sculpted. Head is (I think?) ML medusa with a little modification to better the likeness and sculpted hair. The right hand is interchangeable with a closed hand for holding a blaster, I just seem to have forgotten it when I was photographing it. I think the overall look of it was worth the sacrifice in articulation personally. Enjoy!

Wow! you took a cape and made it into a skirt.. sorry to ask - is there a seam on the other side of the model then? or have you blended it THAT well I can't see it clearly?

Justice has been served!!! I do love fabrics on figures just that it takes the right fabric, time, and effort which Hasbro can't do. This is just amazing

I think if maybe they had gone with fabric for just the lower half it wouldve been better. Hoth Leia would be my next version, skip the soft goods crapola all together and keep some real leg movement

Thanks, I tried really hard to show the weight of the folds without making her look fat
