I was thinking this contest ran for the whole of this month, and today checking out I learn the deadline is tomorrow! I was quite sunk to see I couldn't participate, when I remember I had an unposted fitting character. I made some improvements to be up to contest level and here it is.

I bought a staction figure without articulation of Uub and I was irritated at how bad it was, and then I said to myself this could be done with a Son Gohan figure with ease, just making boots and head. But this wasn't as easy as it looked like. Sculpting an anime head (or any head, for that matter) from scratch, being human and with a strange hairstyle, is no mean feat. His hair was quite a nightmare to sculpt. I might have added a bit too much hair, but in overall, I consider it a good result.

About the character, this is Uub, the character meant to have been the succesor of Goku in Dragon Ball but which ended up being less than sidekick in Dragon Ball GT. I imagine Akira Toriyama had bigger plans for him, but the new people behind Dragon Ball GT scrapped that and he ended up being one of the most underrated and underused characters with more potential in them. I have done him in his training attire before fusing with Majin Buu. Hope you like it.
