It is without question that Maul is one of THE coolest star wars characters of ALL TIME...and it hurt for such along time that he was taken away from us so early...we wanted MORE MAUL...but he was cut in half and disappeared down a shaft...Then...years later...along comes the animated clone wars series...and in its 4th season...Maul...returned. He has had a few different looks in the show...spider legs, more regular looking legs...but it's 2nd look he had that was my FAVORITE...
His mother...Mother Talzin removed his crazy spider body and REFORMED him with a new lower torso. She gave him these BADASS looking legs and all I could think was how sick he looked. At the time I wasn't dabbling with customs at all...but now that I have a few under my belt...I decided to take a try at him...He may not look EXACTLY as he did in the show...but...it works for me...and he has incredible articulation (32POA) for some dynamic looking poses. His neck collar is just a piece I sculpted and it is removable...His upper thighs are also sculpted. I wasn't really seeing anything out there that had the look I wanted for his upper thighs so I went for it and made them. I really ended up being quite happy with him.
