Finally getting back to those Wolverine based figures I wanted to make after seeing Logan. Had to wait for an order from Marauder to come in. Their katanas are pretty small and the perfect size for claws. How well they hold, though, I'm not sure. So far, so good. I've really wanted to make Romulus for a while, but the claws held me up. Now that I'm trying to attach blades, the door really opened up for him. He's a good bit taller than Wolverine, so I went with a Hyperion figure. Cable can still be a bit pricier to get, so I gave sculpting up some abs a go. Only my second attempt at them. Not terrible, but still a ways to go before I'm solid at them. Used an old head cast of Wolverine. Pulled it out of a fodder box, so I'm not sure who made it. I added a ponytail from Omega Red, and sculpted up the front bit of hair. Swapped out lower legs for Gladiator, then sculpted up the belt, leg armor, and bracers. Glued the swords on his hands for the claws, full repaint, and done! I really love his towering size.
