This was a commission piece sent to me, just a Lobo I had never seen before. The customer requested it be painted like a sideshow statue.

I wiped the "mud" off the boots. The paint effect was just awful and unconvincing. Then I removed the vest and began work on righting the wrongs of the plastic skin tones. The blues were important to include, and building up the grays was fun. Then I did some details on the paints with dry brush and airbrush, the knee pads on down featured airbrush, paint brush, and washes. I painted some metallic silver and copper on the belts.

Lastly and most important was the goatee!
