Batman Begins (Mattel) - Head

For this custom I took the head and neck collar piece off then placed a cloth cape under these pieces then refit the collar and a BATMAN BEGINS head back over the cape. I thought this head sculpt didn't look as blocky as the DK figures plus it gives the body more heroic proportions. The cape isn't much longer than before but it is almost 3 times as wide so that it can effectively drape over the figures body completely to recreate some classic scenes from the film. For the paint job I used gloss black on the shoulders, boots, helmet, and the top layer of the gloves. I used flat black for all of the other areas of the costume including the inner sections of the gloves, this was to make the look that the gloves are a separate piece from the body suit.
