Stripped off He-Mans Armor and took him apart to paint. Primed it with white acrylic Gesso and repainted necessary parts with acrylic paints (including weapons). Sprayed a protective acrylic clear coat (usually used for car interiors). Put the figure back together and broke the joint connecting the left leg so I did a makeshift "screw eye" fix that fit this size figure and used some super glue which worked at retaining the articulation, but I added some super glue anyways since the figure was not going to be moving much anyways and it is great. For the armor I used a foam sheet from Michaels, and I cut out each part and glued it together. I added the trademark "Wonder Bread" dots on his back as an homage to the latest Wonder Bread He-Man from the MOTUC line. Critique welcome, I'm always looking for ways to improve the craft. Thanks!! ![]() |
