Some of you may recall back in December of last year I did a Mid Transformation Colossus to face off in a head to head competition with the notorious Fastfreddie. The Pink's Contest allowed members of a facebook group to vote on 1 custom and the winner would GET the other person's custom! We did declare a tie, and I am freaking stoked to own a Fastfreddie! It has a ton of sentimental value and is irreplaceable.

So, I started a second Pink's contest and this is my entry. I scrapped 2 ideas before this one. I was going through my pieces and was sorta floored by the old toybiz zombie figure from the marvel monsters 4 pack. It has a freaking great sculpt, and decent poseability for a zombie type character. Like any one might think, I went through my typical choices- can I do any prominent character with this?

His pants helped me decide.

That's right: pants. After a good 5 minutes I thought these are the pants of a martial artist! Grabbed my toybiz Iron fist figure and went at it:

-Dremelled out IF Head, put on zombie- sculpt to complete the look.
-Glue on the collar
-Pieces of fabric strategically cut and distressed, then glued on

Paints:

-Each family of colors(yellows,red,green) have more than 4 tones to them, so hours went into getting it right
-I did my best to get the illuminated chi effect
-no dragon tattoo-I tried it and it looked bad/seemed forced- maybe he wouldn't have it on his rotting flesh, right?

I took flash photos, some with natural light, just to give an idea of the different colors!
