Hi, realmers ! Since I was really happy about how that silver, structured fabric, called "techno look-fake leather" looked on my "Nârgh, the orc archer"-figure, I wanted to use that chainmail-ish stuff again and large-scale, this time. Furthermore there are some details/items/variations of the uruk hai-/berserker-armor, which are actually been in the movies, that I always wanted to make/to have, since none of ToyBiz figures has those features. Those are the left forearm-shield; the jockstrap and last but not least those super cool blades/hooks attached on the left hand-armor. Recipe : Base-Figure : LOTR Berserker ToyBiz (repainted the white hand-prints and teeth and sculpted over the sandals) Helmet : aluminum-parts added to the original one; liquid green stuff and paint Chainmail-shirt : "Techno-look fake leather" Shoulder armor : I've took one piece from a Vaako-figure (chronicles of riddick), then dremeled; sculpted; filed; added rubber and recasted them. Shin-guards : bent plastic Forearm-shield : bent plastic (no sculpy; rivets embossed from the flipside) Jockstrap = bent plastic; just little bit of sculpy The buckle is made of plastic, too. The hooks on the left hand are made of plastic and a little bit of sculpy too. I've had cut two slots in the hands (1mm deep), to insert/glue the hooks into it, so they aren't just glued onto the surface. Body-armor = bent plastic and rubber Straps; belt; sword-pouch= fake leather Elbow-armor = rubber and flexible sculpy I used Citadel and Rewell-colors. Thanks for having a look ! Cheers ! ![]() |

A german Ebay-seller offers that sort of fake leather. You can buy just a small sample, or one meter (or more,of course) Choose "techno look silber" (there are other styles from techno look, too)
Here's the Ebay-item-nr.: 222451401089
Greetings !
I wrote a Figure Inque on this figure (found under the "Features" section on the left) thanks for your submissions
Do you have a picture of the package for that "Techno-look fake leather"? I can't find any reference to it
