I made this guy out of a Titans Return Megatron and a Combiner Wars Blast Off head. Guns from Renderform. The chest vents were designed and 3D printed by me. I carved out sockets in Megatron's chest and fit them in. Transformation works fine in all modes and the vents look cool in jet mode.

I decided to re-write Gobots lore to better fit within the Transformers universe.

For millennia, Transformers have been admired by organic beings across the galaxy for their longevity, sheer military potential, and resilience. Some races have even attempted to assimilate Cybertronian physiology with varied results. Legends on Cybertron itself spoke of Cybertronians called Titan Masters who could symbiotically merge with Cybertronians to amplify their power. Inspired by this legend, the Nebulans from planet Nebulos developed Binary Bonding, which created Targetmasters, Headmasters and Powermasters to augment Transformers with cyber-organic beings. But long before this development, the race known as the Go, from the planet Gobing, developed a process that merged an organic consciousness into a new transtector shell, thus creating the GoBots.

Their hand forced by desperate necessity against prevailing global terrorism, the faction of the Go known as the Guardians looked to gain a military edge against their enemies. Goaded by an enigmatic figure known as The Last Engineer who admired Cybertronian physiology, a handful of the Guardians’ best fighters were selected to undergo the GoBot procedure. The Guardians turned the tide in their favor until the evil Renegades managed to hijack the lab and undergo their own GoBot procedure. This escalation proved to be the downfall of Gobing, resulting in the destruction of nearly all organic native life. Their homeworld, a shell of its former self, was sarcastically nicknamed GoBotron by the survivors.

The Guardians, having seen the end result of their actions, made one last desperate push to exile the Renegades and remove their unsustainable conflict from their planet. The Guardian GoBots agreed to a plan that would banish all Cybertronian-like life from their planet via a wormhole to an unspecified world in hopes that the Renegades would never again find their home planet. Once executed, the Guardians and Renegades could either finish their conflict or start life anew in their own colony. The plan worked and the Gobots found themselves on Earth. The Guardians were soon met with despair as they found their attempts to prevent their conflict from harming one organic race had brought it to an entirely new one.

Both the Guardians and Renegades were soon surprised to find that Earth was also inhabited by Cybertronians who had been stranded there for millions of years. Initially hesitant to join a completely separate war, each faction recognized the necessity of alliances as the greatly outnumbered Guardians and Renegades watched as both the Autobot and Decepticon factions grew in power and scope of galactic conflict. It was only a matter of time until they were sucked into a civil war that greatly paralleled their own.

The rediscovery of the Titan Masters, paired with the Nebulan technological development of their own Master variations has bled into the GoBot factions in the form of regret, as the Masters remind the GoBots of what they once were and could have been. This had led to particular tensions between the GoBots and the Nebulans, as the latter looks at the former as obsolete tech, and the former looks at the latter as having plagiarized their heritage.

Leader-1
Supreme Commander of the Guardians

Leader-1 is an idealist both in and out of battle. Nothing matters more than the care and safety of those under his command. As such, his war philosophy is best summed up as “First in, Last out”. In the past, he preferred dominating the battlefield through air superiority and close range air support, but given the escalating conflict and broadened resource access via the Autobots, Leader-1 chose to undergo a triple-changer upgrade. His additional tank mode allows him to provide nearly unmatched destruction from the front lines and from above. Autobots and Guardians alike look to the skies upon hearing the thunder of a sonic boom, knowing it won’t be long until that thunder lands and delivers crushing artillery to enemy ranks.

While initially hesitant to ally with the Autobot cause, Leader-1 found common ground with the idealism of Optimus Prime and his desire to protect life on their newly adopted homeworld. Given Leader-1’s expertise with air combat and special ops warfare, at Prime’s request, he has discreetly taken up a mentor relationship with Silverbolt, the young, inexperienced leader of the Aerialbots.

Leader-1 is bonded to the Titan Master, MOAB, which boosts his firepower to untold levels. Their relationship is uncomfortable for Leader-1 at times, as he is organic in a Cybetronian shell, and MOAB is a Cybertronian that resembles the race he once was.

Legendary Titan Master

There are few things MOAB finds more satisfying than mass destruction of evil. MOAB is a rare Titan Master. Unusual enough as a female Master, she also is capable of amplifying a Cybertronian’s firepower more than any other Master, with the exception of Sovereign. She also provides a notable speed and accuracy boost, which, given an aerial combatant like Leader-1, provides analready legendary warrior with an even greater edge.
