So, I ended up getting asked to make a larger Sasquatch to scale properly with the rest of Alpha Flight. He stands about 10' tall in the comics, which scaled down is just shy of 6". Initially, I had no clue where to start. I am far from well versed in the 6" scale. If things weren't so pricy, I'd buy more and work in that scale more often. Got a few more coming, though. So, I'm learning a bit. Anyway, ended up buying a Beast at first because I couldn't find a Hulk figure that wasn't 10". Then, I dug through some more of my stuff and realized I had one of the older, smaller Hulk figures. So, now I have a human Beast I need to find a use for. Too bad I don't have any wings. I couldn't find a more appropriate head to go with, so I just redid the whole figure. Sanded down the jeans and sculpted up all the patches of fur. Full repaint with some agonizing joint work, and my first attempt at the character is complete!

Great job recreating the proportions

Oh yeah and all the generic 6 inch bodies and chars no one wants are always like 7 to 10 bucks shipped on ebay. You can stock up on Havoks, Speed Demons, Wasps, etc. and just sculpt whatever you want on them.

The Marvel Legends Enchantress figure is also pretty cheap on Ebay right now, I recently scored 2 still in package, sealed with the BAF piece for $8 each. You can also routinely pick up the Hulkbuster series Thundra and Valkyrie loose for under $10 shipped, slightly larger at almost 7 inches but Thundra makes an especially good base for a She Hulk custom.
Anyway, nice work on Sasquatch, the fur sculpt looks really good, though I'd probably have gone with more of a pale orange for the paints. Model Masters yellow ochre would be a good choice as it's more orange than yellow.

Thanks for the tips! Always tough building up a stock. Next part is figuring out what to make. I know the 4" scale well, but projects I think of for the 6" scale are already out there. lol On the plus side, I also just found out my local WalMart discounted a ton of Marvel Legends.

And thanks for the compliments! I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the heads up, looks like Walmart had a another clearance sale recently, some of the figs are cheap on the website. I'd grab the ones with Venom parts but I'm broke lol.
