I used an old Batman Returns Penguin action figure and sculpted the new body over the old one. Made changes to his face, removing the monocle. Re-did his hat and molded all of the hair. Then did a full Repaint of the figure. I am not completely done with this yet, need to clean up some stuff and tweak some paint in parts.
Let me know what you think and what I can improve on

You asked for pointers, so here is a big one. When you sculpt, you should use sandpaper to smooth it out after you harden it. Sculpy is really good to use on figures. It can be dried with a hair dryer and then sanded. Paint shows every flaw, bad seam, finger print, etc. It helps to primer it first. That way, you can identify mistakes and fix them before you do the final paint job. You have a great idea here, but it needs to be refined. I am not trying to be mean, but rather just trying to help!
