Whats up realmers?...man, I've been dying to say that! So, I am so happy to bring you my very first custom, Darkseid! The first in my own custom DC Universe! So, he started life as Marvel Infinite series Ultimate Green Goblin BAF. Arms and legs have hundreds of small pieces cut off to get that "rocky" textured look. You can see what I mean in the WIP shots. Next notable change is adding 3/4 of an inch to his lower legs, cutting his shins in half, spacing them equally, then filling the gap with sculpt. Speaking of sculpt, the boots, belt, and glove cuffs are sculpt, and his head is a completely scratch built head from sculpt...(of which Im thrilled how it turned out!) And of course the led lights in his head...4 lights, a 4 volt watch battery, and a custom harness inside the body to make changing the battery nice and easy! Switch mounted just below his head in back. Polished off with Testors, a light dry brush of black and grey, and Darkseid was ready to rule with the iron fist of a god king!
