R.J. MacReady from John Carpenter's The Thing. Very minimalist recipe: G.I. Joe Hawk v3 torso, arms, and legs (removed epaulettes and reattached fur collar; sanded away Hawk's medals and insignia); Snow Job v3 head, goggles, and revolver; Destro v26 backpack and fodder flamethrower (best thing I had on hand for the flamethrower) Update: I purchased a head on eBay from camarodude1967 who painted it. I'm using the head primarily for my other MacReady custom (for his indoor look) but I love the way it looks on this body as well.  Please wait... |
