With this figure the idea was to make a MCU inspired Crossbones figure that was not quite the movie version but had some elements of it. Since I used a War Machine as a base figure I decided to make a more heavily armed Crossbones who instead of using guns had them on his arms since they were already sculpted there. I glued in several fodder tube pieces to make it look less sleek and differentiate it from Ironman. I resculpted the head, parts of the torso, and some areas in the legs. I glued in several pouches and straps on the lower torso.
I painted the whole figure black then drybrushed the white on the head and chest based on the Civil War mcu look as I liked that sort of hand painted look it had. I decided to paint his eyes white with black for where his skin would show to make it more comic as I was displaying this on a comic shelf. The boots and gauntlets are primarily a bronze color, with the gauntlets having various silver highlights.
