This is a custom figure I was asked to make of Batgirl in the style of the vintage ‘She-Ra princess of Power’ figures from the 1980’s.

To make her I used the head, arms & legs from a vintage Castaspella figure, the upper body from a Peekablue figure & the arm guards from a batman figure. Her left hand was also replaced with one from a Sweet Bee figure.

I decided to paint her costume in the classic purple & gold/yellow colour scheme as I felt this would fit in best with the overall look of the vintage POP figures.
I also made her a cape & skirt with metallic gold belt in the same style of the vintage pop figures.

Her bat ears were sculpted using ‘Fixit sculpt’ & are attached with some black elastic which is neatly hidden under the back of her head.

I finished her look by styling her hair using the boiling water method.
