This was a simple headswap, putting Aquaman's head onto Osborn's body, but the result speaks volumes. For years, I've wanted a figure of Skinny Steve, the character I most identified with through the Marvel Cinematic films. Of course, part of that identification is because he ends up (for awhile) with Peggy Carter, but that's another matter entirely.
Osborn's body, by Toybiz, from the 2001 Spider Man film, clocks in at about five and a half inches tall, perfectly fine for Skinny Steve, but not right for William DaFoe's character, who was intended to be menacing. The Skinner J. Jonah Jameson figure, on the other hand, clocks in at about 6", to coincide with both the character and the scale of other Marvel figures.
Here, the smaller stature of Osborn worked perfectly. The skintone was a near perfect match to the Aquaman head. Skinny Steve, as a result, works perfectly next to standard sized figures, customs, and other to-scale figures. He looks shorter and smaller because the character was shorter and smaller, pre serum transformation.
