Here is my first submission to the realm, longtime lurker I got plenty of tips to help me from this site. Here we have my favorite character from my favorite film, MacReady from The Thing.
Recipe:
legs/torso: Diamond Select Ghostbusters Ray
arms/jacket: Diamond Select Butch
head: NECA stuntman Mike
flamethrower: McFarlance Call of Duty flametrooper

For Mac I used a diamond select Ghostbusters Ray for the legs and torso. I removed the arms and jacket from a diamond select Pulp Fiction Butch and had to drill the holes out a little to get them to fit. The Head is from NECA deathproof stuntman Mike, it popped on the ball joint pretty easily. I sculpted the beard and jacket collar and pouches from super sculpey and the hair is sculpted from sculpey bake and bend to give it some flexibility. His flamethrower comes from a Mcfarlane COD flametrooper. The straps were borrowed from the ghostbusters figure proton pack. His gun belt is rigged up from the ghostbusters utility belt with a holster from a NECA lone ranger. I used Citadel paints to give him his signature look. Now he's ready to find out who's a thing on the toy shelf. Thanks for checking him out!
