This is the next custom I have just finished working on which is part of a series of figures based on characters from the classic 80's "Jem & the Holograms" cartoon series.
So this time I was asked to make Shana in the style of the classic She-Ra Princess of Power figures which were also released in the 80's.

Her overall look is based on the vintage 12" Aja doll but with some adjustments to help her fit in better with the vintage POP line.

To make her I used a vintage Netossa (Princess of Power) figure as a base.

I sculpted the bodice section of her outfit using a product called "Fixit Sculpt" & painted her using enamel paints.
Her skirt was made from faux leather & holographic tape for the details on her belt. Her jacket was made from silver fabric taken from the vintage 12" Shana doll's jacket.
I cut off all Netossa's blue hair & re-rooted new purple doll hair which I then styled using the boiling water method.
Finally I made her a little guitar based on the one that came with the vintage 12" doll.
