Well its been a while since I've posted anything on F.R. and I have quite a few customs piling up. So its time I start actually showing some of these off. And first off I have a Custom Destiny hunter. I started with a black series kanan jarrus body. Removed the giant sholderpad and attached it as upper thigh armor. That was where the easy stuff stopped.
I replaced the arms with Avengers loki arms. Then scavenged some sholder pads from a snowtrooper action figure. And a bunch of cloth from an extra Kylo ren figure I had lying around. Everything else is sculpted.
I started with the chest piece, then moved on to the upper sholder and upper cape pieces. Then started work on the cape inserts. At first I was going to use a helmet from the marvel legends shield agent figures that came out for civil war. But after finishing the paint on it, I decided I wanted something a little more game accurate.so Back to sculpting. I took a black series figure head. (Just some randome one I had.) And cut out the base. Then sculpted on top of that.
Once I finished with that, I set about his weapons. I knew I wanted to make the hawksaw. (A pulse rifle from the first Destiny game. May it R.I.P.)
But I couldn't find anything that looked close to it. So back to sculpting. And three days later I had a Game accurate Hawksaw.
After spending so much time micro-sculpting I decided I no longer caired about the other weapons being game accurat. And that close enough, was good enough.
To Finish out the figure, I took a Guardians of the galaxy iron man head. And then (you guessed it.) Started sculpting that to.
A little dremel work.(I lie. a lot of dremel work.) On the chest. More sculpting for straps and buckles.
Then a full 2 day pait job. Consisting of a lot of micro- painting. (Mostly on the iron banner logo on his leg.)
and my Destiny Hunter was finally complete.
And man am I sick of sculpting.

Hope you like it. And thanks for sticking through the summary.

P.S. I also did an in game inventory screen for no reason other than I though it would be fun. It was not.

Thanks, I was originally going to go with a blue and gold color scheme. But decided to go with something I would actually wear.

Thanks man. I've been a fan of Destiny since the alpha. So it just felt right to build a figure from a franchise that means so much to me.
