Anyone remember the blue Corvette with the flaming Autobot faction symbol on his hood from Generation 1 Transformers? His name is Tracks and I'll never forget when I got him back when I was a kid. I played that guy to death, his doors came off and he lost an arm and wing. And it's not that I mistreated him either, I tried to take care of him, but he saw a lot of action.

Anyways, he was one of the first that came to mind when I considered what Gen 1 'bots to do in the movie style. I opted to kitbash a Concept Camaro Bumblebee with about 3 different Gundam kits and came out with my version of movie Tracks. His gun is made from scratch and has removable fire molding. He is still fully transformable and posable. His wings and shoulder missiles are removable for car mode. His base is made to look like a stretch of road with a textured surface. But the most proud feature I made for him is probably the custom created decal of his flame emblem using the movie style Autobot faction symbol.

Paints used:
- Testors Model Master Acryl Flat Black
- Testors Model Master Acryl White
- Gamesworkshop Citadel Enchanted Blue
- Gamesworkshop Citadel Mithril Silver
- DecoColor Paint Pen Silver
- DecoColor Paint Pen Copper

First a basecoat of Black to his robot parts while his car parts got a treatment of beautiful Enchanted Blue. His wings, missiles, head, feet, and paneling were all painted White. The Silver and Copper paint pens were used for detailing. I opted not to do any real weathering this time, going for that "clean" look. As mentioned, a custom decal was created for his hood, as well as a license plate decal for the rear of the car. The entire assembly was airbrushed several layers of Future Floor Polish as a sealer, giving him not quite a gloss look but more satin than anything. Finally, his base was created by spraying down Plasti-Kote Stone Touch, covering it with Black, then some drybrushing of Gray for detail with White striping. Whew.

This could be just a simple repaint, but you really took it a step and beyond by adding the wings and missile launchers. BUT, what really seals the deal for me is the flame decal you on the hood. Afterall, he just wouldn't be tracks without him.

I tried to work that in but it just didn't seem plausible with there being virtually no distance from the bottom of the door to the ground... Alas, that would have been sweet
