Ok, I decided to take a break from Star Wars and wanted to try something totally different.

So I decided to try repainting a Spider-Man figurine from Takara Tomy Metacolle series.

For this particular color scheme, I was inspired mainly by the costume worn by Miles Morale and decided to come up with my own version combining Miles Morale costume with the movie Spider-Man 3 symbiote costume.

The figurine was base coated with Games Workshop Chaos Black Spray. The detailing was then done using a mixture of Citadel and Formula P3 paints. I decided to give a glowing orange effect throughout the entire costume to make the costume stand out more.

A coat of clear gloss and flat varnish was applied to protect the paint from chipping and to give it a semi satin finishing.

Overall, it was nice to do something different for a change although the glowing orange effect were tedious to paint.
